How It Works

The goal of SendToPhil is to make the process of preparing and sending a balikbayan box a fast, pleasant and easy experience. Here's how it works:

  • SHOP WITHIN OUR WEBSITE
  • You can shop tax-free1 by browsing products on our website and adding them to cart. Our products are mostly bestsellers that ship to the Philippines frequently.
  • Choose a virtual box to place the items in. Make sure it is big enough to fit. If it doesn't fit, you can always add another box, choose a bigger box, or remove items from your cart. Our system will let you know if a box is full or not in real-time.
  • Once your box is full, you can proceed to check out. The total price2 will be displayed on the checkout page. After checking out, we will send you a confirmation email. In case there are any issues with the order, we will contact you via email.
  • Checking out is easy! Just enter the shipper's information which includes a US address. If the shipper does not have a US address, you have the option to use SendToPhil's US address. Then you need to add the receipient's information. After that, you are given the option to purchase additional insurance for your boxes.
  • Payment is even easier! You can pay using major credit cards. Depending on your location, you may have the option to pay via Google Pay or Apple Pay. If you want someone else to pay, click the Generate Pabilink button. Pabilink is a link that you can share with someone who can pay for your bill.
  • After a successful order, you can download your receipt in PDF format. We also give you a link which you can share to your friends and family. This link opens a page with an exact copy of your cart! There is a Purchase this Cartbutton so others can buy the same thing you did!
  • BUYING A REGALO BOX
  • If you do not have the time to shop or you are on a specific budget, you can choose a Regalo Box. This is a box loaded with products that were curated by our shopping pros and includes some of the most requested SendToPhil items that will make your loved ones very happy. These boxes range from $300 up.
  • Just add the Regalo Box to cart and proceed to check out. The total price2 will be displayed on the checkout page. After checking out, we will send you a confirmation email.
  • PERSONAL OR USED ITEMS TO INCLUDE IN YOUR BALIKBAYAN BOX

  • Most shoppers want to include used or personal items in a balikbayan box. To do this, just place your items in a box and send it to our warehouse in San Dimas. We also accept drop-offs.

    You can also buy items on other websites and have them shipped to our warehouse.

    We will let you know the amount of space it consumes in your balikbayan box as we pack them.

  • 1. Tax-free products refer to products purchased in the USA by a US resident. The recipient in the Philippines must be responsible for any Philippine taxes that are imposed on the goods.
  • 2. SendToPhil charges a handling fee which is included in the total shipping price. This rate is approximately 30% of a box's shipping rate.
