Our Story

G3 and Mai Misa, founders of SendToPhil migrated to the United States early 2000s and have since been sending balikbayan boxes to their families in the Philippines every year. It occurred to them that the process of sending a balikbayan box was very tedious, stressful and time-consuming. On the average, it took them approximately 2 to 3 months to prepare a balikbayan box to send. It was mainly because of 2 things: Firstly, the lack of time to shop and pack due to their busy schedules at work. Secondly, figuring out what items to send because of budget constraints. As a result, sending out the boxes would often go late, missing important occasions and events in the Philippines. To address this issue, they decided to launch SendToPhil to make shopping, packing and sending boxes to the Philippines fast, easy and stress-free as possible.
